In response to faculty concerns regarding the Aptis test, the UST Faculty Union (USTFU) consulted with the Office of the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs. Vice Rector Prof. Patricia M. Empleo, Ph.D., provided the following assurances: 100% Voluntary: Participation is strictly optional, fully subsidized, and requires individual consent. No Employment Impact: Results will not affect performance appraisals, promotions, tenure, workload, or employment status.
